My full name is Briseida Espindola-Calderon and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I named my designs the Ella Colection S/S 2022, Ella meaning "Her" in English. As a Latina myself, I drew inspiration from Oscar de la Renta's S/S 2022 Collection and I wanted my designs to represent our colorful Latina women that have blossomed and bloomed even with all the obstacles that are thrown their way. With Oscar de la Renta being a Latino himself, I believe this colorful collection represents the beauty that comes with being Latinx.
